Bio
I am strongly committed to continuing my education and growth as a clinician. I have earned EMDR Certified Therapist status from EMDRIA (EMDR International Association) and the AAMFT Approved Supervisor designation from the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. I have also pursued advanced training opportunities in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), The Trauma Resiliency Model, and Mindful Awareness techniques, and I am currently training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Each of these methodologies has been validated by extensive research in recent years and represents exciting and important advancements in the field of therapy.
I received my BA from the University of Pennsylvania where I majored in English Literature and Film Studies and minored in Psychology. After working extensively in the entertainment industry I decided to pursue my lifelong interest in Psychology. I returned to graduate school and earned an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. While in school I created a therapeutic drama program and led psycho-educational groups for at-risk adolescents at Southern California Drug and Alcohol Programs, Inc. As a volunteer with the SAG BookPals program, I read to elementary students and helped them to discuss their reactions to the stories we shared.
I subsequently trained at the Southern California Counseling Center for five years. During that time, in addition to seeing clients, I completed the Center’s two-year family therapy training program, gang awareness training and group facilitation training. I finished my internship hours in a private practice setting in Beverly Hills. After earning my Marriage and Family Therapy license I worked as a clinician and supervisor for two and a half years at Vista School, a division of Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services in Culver City. My clients there were severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents and their families. During that time, I returned to the Southern California Counseling Center as a volunteer supervisor and in 2008 I joined the staff as the Assistant Clinical Director. I was subsequently promoted to Associate Clinical Director. My duties at SCCC included program development, clinical supervision, coordinating training programs, teaching, training parenting facilitators, crisis management, and interfacing with the Center’s legal counsel. With my colleagues Bob Mendelsohn and Carol Potter, I co-created Best Practice Parenting, a strength-based parenting class curriculum. During my ten years on staff at SCCC I also built a thriving private practice focused on supporting highly creative individuals and couples. In 2018 I moved with my family to Frankfurt, Germany. In Germany I built a private practice supporting English-speaking individuals and couples. In November 2024, I returned to Los Angeles where I continue to see individuals and couples, both in person and online.

Bio
I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and relationship issues. I work primarily from a cognitive-behavioral perspective while also integrating other therapeutic orientations and modalities into my practice, including family systems and humanistic theories. I help clients identify harmful thought processes and behavioral patterns and encourage them to develop positive coping mechanisms. I love working with clients who are motivated to self-reflect and make positive change. With a foundation of empathy and collaboration, I create a safe space where clients can heal and grow.
I began my career in the mental health industry in high school when I volunteered for four years at Teen Line, a teen-to-teen crisis hotline based in Los Angeles, CA. Following high school and Teen Line, I received my BA from Harvard University where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a concentration in Psychology. After working at a suicide prevention center for two years training volunteers and answering crisis line calls, I returned to graduate school and earned an MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. While in school, I completed my internship at Optimist Youth Homes and Family services. At Optimist, I worked as a therapist for low-income children and adolescents and their families, providing free mental health care.
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #159476, supervised by Clay Crosby, LMFT #40551).

Bio
I’m a relational therapist who sees couples and individuals across California. I often work with LGBTQ+ clients, creative professionals, people with ADHD, and those processing trauma or grief. I enjoy supporting clients as they explore their identity, while working to improve their relationships at home, at work, and within community.
I see clients online and in person. With couples, I primarily utilize Emotionally Focused
Therapy (EFT) to help alleviate issues related to communication, monogamy, sex, and
attachment. With individuals, I work from a collaborative, strengths-based lens to address
anxiety, depression, and low self-worth. Sessions with me always center intersectional
identity factors like gender, sexuality, race, culture, and neurodiversity.
I hold an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University
Northridge and a B.A. in Communication from Northwestern University. I have been a
Mental Health Clinician at the Los Angeles LGBT Center since 2024. Previously, I have
served as a youth mentor, an English language tutor, and a crisis counselor. I have long
worked as a creative copywriter. In my free time, I practice yoga, play tennis, and
participate in two (rivaling) book clubs.
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #161109, supervised by Clay Crosby, LMFT #40551).
